2. Prices and Additional Charges
Prices appear on the product or checkout page and include or separately state consumption tax as shown. Purchasers also bear displayed shipping, bank or cash-on-delivery fees, import duties, taxes and other charges clearly stated before checkout.
3. Payment Methods and Timing
Available methods and payment timing appear at checkout. [VERIFY AND LIST ACTUAL METHODS BEFORE PUBLICATION.] Card payments are processed by a payment provider and the Company normally does not retain full card numbers.
4. Order Acceptance, Errors and Stock
An automated acknowledgement only confirms receipt. The contract is formed when the Company sends an acceptance confirmation or dispatches the goods. The Company may correct or cancel for an obvious price or description error, lack of stock, failed payment, suspected fraud, inability to deliver or another reasonable cause, and will refund amounts received.
5. Delivery
Unless otherwise stated, in-stock goods are normally targeted for dispatch within 3–7 business days after confirmation of order or payment. Made-to-order, pre-order and seasonal goods, peak demand, weather, traffic or harvest conditions may cause delay. Shipping rates, carrier, area and temperature control must be shown at product or checkout level. [INSERT ACTUAL SHIPPING TABLE AND CONDITIONS BEFORE PUBLICATION.]
6. Changes and Cancellation
Changes or cancellation may be accepted only before dispatch preparation. Made-to-order, personalised, pre-order, fresh or otherwise identified goods may not be changed or cancelled after confirmation.
7. Returns, Exchanges and Refunds
Because foods and other hygiene- or quality-sensitive goods cannot normally be resold, conforming goods cannot be returned or exchanged for a change of mind. This returns restriction should also be clearly shown on product and final confirmation pages. For wrong quantity or item, transit damage, spoilage, serious leakage or other non-conformity, contact the Company within seven days of delivery with photographs and the order number. After confirmation, the Company will replace, reship or refund at its cost. Unauthorised returns may be refused.
8. Food, Allergies and Storage
Ingredients, net contents, best-before or use-by date, storage, manufacturer and other required information appear on labels or product pages. Purchasers must check allergens and storage requirements and store goods promptly. Trace cross-contact may be unavoidable in shared facilities. Those with severe allergies should enquire before purchase.
9. Handmade, Agricultural and Seasonal Goods
Handmade, agricultural and small-batch products may naturally vary in colour, shape, aroma, heat, texture, weight or appearance. Variations that do not affect safety or conformity are not defects. Images may differ due to displays, harvests or batches.
10. International Delivery
International delivery is available only where expressly offered. The purchaser may be responsible for import restrictions, duties, tax, clearance, inspection, seizure or disposal, and must confirm legal importability.
11. Fraud and Chargebacks
For suspected false identity, stolen payment instruments, abnormal resale orders or other fraud, the Company may verify identity, cancel, stop dispatch and provide information to payment providers, banks or police as permitted by law. Where a chargeback is made without legitimate grounds, the Company may recover the price, shipping, collection costs and other reasonable legally recoverable expenses.
12. Liability and Force Majeure
To the extent permitted by law, the Company is not liable for indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profit. This does not apply to wilful misconduct or gross negligence, or where the Product Liability Act, Consumer Contract Act or other mandatory law prevents limitation. The Company will respond reasonably to delay caused by events beyond its control.
13. Amendments, Language and Law
These terms may be amended for legal or operational changes. The Japanese version is authoritative and prevails over translations to the extent permitted by law. Japanese law applies.
